Shinawatra has gone AWOL, his lackeys are trying to sell players and it's meltdown. The stuff about Corluka staying is not 100 per cent right. The player does not fancy Tottenham and his girlfriend likes Manchester where she is going to uni. They may persuade him to leave as they need the money. The Stephen Ireland story is hilarious...a club official told him not to play, Sparky found out and went ballistic. Oh dear. Never mind

portsmouth f.c. the premier ship
Shame it's not happened to the red side of Manchester!! Imagine the tears shed all over Devon and Singapore.
Even though my club is in a bit of turmoil; players don't like the training, players putting in transfer requests 4 days before the season starts, a fuckin prayer room in the Blackburn End
, I console myself with the fact that at least I don't follow Ci'eh............![]()
Can't we pin this and change it's name to The Sour Fucking Grapes thread?
Any bitter bastard with not much to say about their own club could to prattle on about proper clubs with proper history and proper fans and everyone else could ignore it.

Maybe they should make the home kit orange instead.......that way when the opposition are leading 3-0 at CoMS the home faithfull may mistakenly believe that ci'eh are winning a do...........![]()

He who laffs last and all that.
I'll bet anyone who cares a pound to a penny that sparkey ain't there in 12 months time.......'patience' is not in this lots vocabulary.......besides all it does in reality is further inflate an already ludicrous transfer system........'of course you can buy Mr Kaka, he will cost you £100,000,000, cash up front please'.........just cos you've got loadsamoney doesn't mean success lies in wait......just ask the geordies, leeds united..........and when does a major business transaction get carried out before due diligence.......lets hope, for your sake that the accountants don't find any discrepancies and your stumped for finding the 30 odd mill for the overhyped brazilian dwarf.......... ![]()
Well i'll be visiting the council house this year in Jewish garb.....shallom.........![]()

A tad jealous are you?
The Man City owners are worth $700 BILLION , this has taken football to a new level never seen before. I agree money can't guarantee success ,but it hasn't stopped Man Utd and Chelsea buying and winning everything in sight for the last 5 years.
If I was a Liverpool or Arsenal fan I would be very worried , as it looks like next season one of them won't be in the Champions League position and this could financially ruin them!
i must admit i am struggling to see how city are going to mess up and let the fans down this time.the arabs will always have the cash because they are BIG IN OIL.
One for col there. been trying to get it in all day

In all honesty i ain't too bothered. I've had my days of shit and glory following rovers and that can never be taken away. I've got a lot of city mates and they are the most loyal bunch in the land. So good luck to em. I just feel that hughes made a mistake in using city as leverage for the chelsea job as i said elsewhere earlier this summer.
Like you say it'll make an interesting couple of years for one of the 'big 4'.........the yanks at liverpoo will be working hard to offload now i imagine....and the arse could be in trouble too....ah well nevermind....
Alanf wrote: I've got a lot of city mates and they are the most loyal bunch in the land.
What does that mean?
The implication is that some people switch clubs when the going gets tough?
I've never heard of this happening, and I know plenty of people who's club begins with L...
HOLY FUCK! I've just spotted myself on Sky Sports News!
Buying tickets for the Chelsea game!

EDIT: on reflection, City do have a history of increasing our gate as the results get worse. I always remember reading the away figures that beat the home gate during the lower league years - 2000 to Bournemouth sticks in my mind.
I had to go to the ground to get my tickets today, the website and telephone line were both fucked from about 9am.
Eastlands sported about equal numbers of fans and media people. A couple of al-jazeera-looking film crews amongst them. No crazy mob of glory-hunters panic-buying tickets on view and the staff said the pace had been steady all morning.
(before anyone starts, I'd planned to get my tickets today anyway - I'd left my membership cards at my parents so couldn't get them last week. Just a coincidence, honest!)
Thanks to an old Red friend of the board who sent the following text message:
Typical Muslims: move to England and straight into a massive council house.
And one I just made up:
We are not billionaires We are not billionaires We've got a trillion We've got a trillion

My point is that unlike fans of some so-called big clubs, these boys followed city with big numbers away when in the old div 3........like any 'true' follower of a football club....
