So it won't be Suarez who enjoys Crunchy Nut endorsements next season..?

It's probably for the best. [;)]

They probably had half a mind throughout the game on getting back to their phones to update their Twatter and Faceache .Oh dear.

Still, on the plus side i watched the game at home thus saving myself from having to put up with the knob 'eads in town who think Kasabian are a good band😄

Sooner Gerrard retires the better. The guy's such a loser.

Or indeed "looser" which seems to have replaced "loser" by the young, dumb masses these days.

Well, die Deutschland Mannnschafft ist die Weltmeister. Is that the correct German grammar? though "Weltmeister" sounds slightly sinister.

Congratulations to Die Mannnschafft though slightly gutted for Argentina which is something i'm pretty sure i've never said in my life.

As is often said, football is a game played between 22 men for 90 minutes, and then the Germans win.

Particulary liked the German WAGs joining the celebrations on the pitch.Wow.Think it's safe to assume there was a fair bit of hide the Frankfurter later on that night.

Germany apparently let themselves down though with the homecoming celebrations in Berlin when they mocked Brazil and Argentina.Bad show, that.No need to rub salt in.

Loved the images of the Christ The Redeemer statue during the final.Stunning.

TV coverage wise i felt ITV came in for some maybe unfair stick. They're always going to struggle obviously because they have the bloody annoying adverts but i took to the Italian lad Cannavarro, he seemed quite amused and bemused by the whole thing much of the time and made me smile. And ITV covered the extended German celebrations on the pitch after the final long after the trophy presentation unlike the slightly sour grapes BBC who cut away from the Maracana stadium not long after the trophy was lifted. Also i got a bit sick of Tim "I've Lived In Brazil for 30 Years And Am A South American Football Expert" Vickery on the the Beeb.God knows what the Beeb's pundits were thinking of with the dreadful black suits for the final, only thing i can think of was they were mourning the departure of Hansen.Sad to see him retire. BBC 5 Live's radio coverage was immense and i often tuned in to listen to half time and full time analysis while keeping an eye on the TV.

As ever, BBC delivered with the montages.
