BILLY CORGAN'S INVOLVEMENT WITH NEW ORDER NOW COMPLETE?
Interesting message from Allen Jarvis on the Ceremony mailing list:

Would entitle this mail 'New Order News' but seeing as how it's all
drunken hearsay, I'd best just stick to calling it 'Gossip'. Have just
had the (mis?)fortune to share a flight back to Heathrow with NO and
their entourage (the tattoo'd minder is called 'Sarge' if anyone's
interested) and picked up some interesting facts from some of the lads
(who shall remain nameless). Cracking bunch they were too.
1. New Order are on Top of the Pops this week. I believe it's being
filmed tomorrow.
2. Corgan's involvement with the band is now complete. He won't be in
Germany on Saturday.
3. The band are actually only doing 45mins on Saturday - the 6.30-7.15
slot.
We also got a quasi-run-down of the 'European' tour. Whatever rumours
you've heard are probably right. It seems to simply encompass multiple
gigs in 3 major UK cities (you can probably work out which for
yourselves), then only 2 European dates were mentioned (I note from
reading the past week's mails that 1 cropped up in a magazine i/v). And
that's as much as I can really say - I guess everything will be
officially announced very soon?
Cheers, Allen.
