IV and International will be released in the US on Rhino Records

Apparently, the IV box set and the International album. will see the light of day in the US, on Rhino Records, the same label that released Joy Division's Heart & Soul box set. The box set would be released in December 2002, International in February 2003.

Drama over Glastonbury play cancellation

A LICENSING mix-up has left hundreds of music fans disappointed after the cancellation of the play Glastonbury at Whitworth Park. The stage version of the festival, written by Manchester's Zoe Lewis, has Brit-art's Damien Hirst on board as set designer, Fat Les frontman Keith Allen doubling up as actor and director and had recruited New Order to provide musical interludes live at the show's Whitworth Park tour dates.

New Order The Greatest Hits

According to Amazon.fr, the french release of "International" would have the following sleeve and name. It has been postedponed to November 5th 2002. This is not an official information, as this was a work title as was "Here to Stay", we still don't have the confirmation from Warner Musique France. The french edition will be a double CD package.

24 Hour Party People DVD released on January 27th 2003

24 Hour Party People will be released on DVD in the UK on January 27th 2003. This double disc set will contain a lot of bonus, including Anthony H. ilson's commentary, Here To Stay video, comments from Peter Hook. Also, the DVD is given a FACT number, FACDVD424.

Anthony H. Wilson declared bankrupt

Ex-FACTORY RECORDS boss TONY WILSON has been declared bankrupt, but is claiming it is all a mistake. Wilson, whose Factory label launched Happy Mondays and New Order, is due in court in at the end of the week in an attempt to get the judgement overturned.

Confusion !

According to Opal Music, an indie specialist record shop, some versions of "International" will contain the original version of Confusion, others will contain the 1987 (Substance) version. We don't have any information yet, on which version will contain which version.

GLASTO BREAKS A LEG

Fatboy Slim, New Order, Joe Strummer, UB40 and Alabama 3 are to star in the forthcoming Keith Allen-directed play, 'Glastonbury'. The play, which charts the experiences of seven festival goers, visits five venues over the coming months and features Damien Hirst designed sets underneath a 'big top' style circus tent.

The upcoming New Order compilation, with working title such as "The Greatest Hits" or "Here To Stay" is now called International and will have different content per country, but not in all country, some countries will have exclusive content. Upcoming New Order releases will be out in Canada

Three of the upcoming projects by New Order will see the light of day in North America, but it will be in Canada, not in the US. According to Warner Music Canada, the following release dates were scheduled for those items: October 29th 2002: New Order The Greatest Hits November 12th 2002: New Order IV Box Set November 19th 2002: New Order Live at Finsbury Park DVD IV is the name of the New Order box set (formerly labeled Recycle) which should be close to the concept of Joy Division's Heart & Soul. All those informations will be subject to confirmation by the record label.
