Real classy of Fox News to put up one of CNN's guy's home phone number up on their website....

Apparently Tucker Carlson, one of the hosts of "Crossfire" ("from the Right") gave out Fox's number on the show as part of a joke about telemarketers and the "do-not-call" list sometime this week. Those classy people at Fox, always full of good humor, decided to retaliate by putting Carlson's PERSONNAL, UNLISTED phone number up on their website. I can just imagine the countless assholes who've flooded poor Tuck's home with obscene phone calls. I guess the Fox people just can't take a joke.

That's why you don't mess with conservatives. Instead of just giving you pamphlets about Jesus or the Patriot Act, they might do something very drastic. For example, if you're an abortionist, conservatives (such as that Christian fanatic they executed not long ago) may shoot you with their constitutionally protected firearms. Or they might call upon the wrath of God to strike down the more liberal Supreme Court justices (as Pat Robertson) did not long ago.

FOX was awesome in this case, fighting fire with ten times more fire, I just wish CNN would put all of Rupert Murdoch's personal numbers on-air. A lingering battle would be enjoyable to me; I love it when grown men make childish acts.

Or they might attack you with their compassionate tax cuts or their awful comb-overs.

I always wondered why he never jumped ship and signed up with FNC. Now I know why: he has a sense of humor, they don't

The link was still up on Fox's website as of the last time I checked (yesterday). The article accompanying it is pure drivel

Something tells me he and his family at the least aren't answering any phone calls anytime soon.

TC gave out the number for Fox's Washington Bureau, not anyone's personnal unlisted phone number. The creeps at Fox took it just a little too far, imho. I try and catch Crossfire when I can (next to impossible now that it's in the afternoon schedule) and I like Carlson even though I don't agree with him. I even went out and bought his book (very good, btw, not as knee-jerk as a lot of other con-servatives I could name). The way that Fox, in typical fashion, overreacted astounds me. They're just vindictive assholes, through and through...

If memory serves, I think the phrase is, "He messed with the bull and got the horns."

Just checked Fox again, they still have his phone number up there! :mad2:

Never thought I'd see the day when a conservative pissed off Fox (though I did notice Bob Barr's interview on the O'reilly factor a few months back, with Wheezing Embodiment of Death subbing, was cut awfully short :evil4: )

You'll get no arguement from me on that point, my friend

The only person Fox is missing is Joe Scarborough; with him they would have an all far-right lineup for me to enjoy and laugh at.

Nah, G. Gordon Liddy ("When I was Growing up, This was still a Free Country") would round it out quite nice for me. He and Ollie North could swap stories about violating the law to cover up for illegal government actions and which paper shredders are most effective :D
