Celebrity-wise, that is. A bit staggering to think of all the people who passed away this month:
Charles Bronson (may have been August) John Ritter Johnny Cash Robert Palmer George Plimpton Donald O'Conner Elia Kazan
Am I missing anyone from the list? It's a bit hard to keep a tally...
Elia Kazan is the most unfortunate of them all to go off to that big cinema in the sky, even if he did name names.

Yeah, that whole thing kept me from feeling too sorry for him. 
The whole McCarthy-era, HUAC-investigating Hollywood, was a shameful time in our history, and Kazan was part of that. A great director, but I don't know that I'd have wanted him as a friend by that time. Still, RIP Elia
