Bubba Ho-Tep

has anybody else heard of this film? it was just released in new york and i am going to see it this week here's what i heard about it Elvis presley(played by bruce Campbell!!!) at the height of his success switches places with an Elvis Impersonator, while performing as the Impersonator, elvis falls from the stage and breaks his hip, he is then put in a rest home and becomes friends with a guy Who thinks he is John F. Kennedy(Ossie Davis). long story short an egyptian Zombie Starts Killing The Residents, so its up to The King and JFK To stop him!!!!!!!!!!!

bruce campbell is so rad!!

it'll be showing at the Ken in San Diego later next month. i am very excited.

It sold out at the Seattle International Film Festival this year, so I'm eagerly awaiting it all the more. It's gotten lots of good press, considering it's a Bruce Campbell pic.

I saw a preview for it on Friday when I went to see "Party Monster." Seemed a bit too surreal for my tastes.

I actually really liked Party Monster.I read a filthy awful review of it in Film Comment, so I'll be staying clear. Besides, that whole rave culture thing I've never felt all too interesting past movies like Go. When some girl asked me at a concert I played some electronic music at if I was way into raves and went all the time, I had no choice but to laugh in her face and send her packing.
