the cure won an award for "inspiration to a new generation of music" it was the Q awards, i have no idea what the fuck that is, but it seemed like a big event. there is a link and article at www.chainofflowers.com look for the cure's pictures of you in a HP tv commercial. its actually a cool commercial.

 The Cure are back in vogue at the moment and the up and coming generation of musicians are acknowledging that they listened to Robert and co. in their younger years. Hence an Inspiration Award? Whatever. Everyone will forget about The Cure in two weeks anyway.

New Order won Q Inspiration Award in 1999. That's another proof that The Cure are always ripping off New Order.

Did you expect Hooky to start playing a prissy bass?

Nah, I'd just like him to play above his knees once in a while.

Nah, I'd just like him to play above his knees once in a while. I wonder how long he'll be able to play like that? It would be hilarious to see him when he's isxty and hanging over playing the bass below his knees

Maybe if NO did not suck the ass of the press and media.. Maybe if NO would have released more albums... Maybe if the Q Awards folks would pull their heads out of their ass...

Sorry, I am one of those that likes both NO and The Cure. But I think JD/NO has been more influential. They defined post punk. They set the standard for techno/dance. When The Cure were too drunk to take the Pornography Tour to the States, NO was redefining music.

Sharon Fooking Osbourne? The person has too much of a chest to be Sharon Osbourne, plus the person looks more feminine than Sharon
