Rock stars of a certain age and their lookalikes

Kudos to whoever it was that pointed out Rob Smith looks increasingly like Jo Brand's alter ego. I was thinking, 'fat Alice Cooper', but no, its clearly Jo.

We've already established that Barny was seperated at birth from Victor Meldrew.

And if anyone's seen the letters page in the current Uncut magazine you'll know that Mark E Smith is due for a reunion with his long lost twin, Golum out of Lord of the Rings.

So just wondering if there any others to add to this list?

Hate to say this but I always thought that Robert Smith looked Liz Taylor.

And that Roger O'Donnel was the TRUE Edward Scizzorhands lookalike in the band circa their "Disintegration" era!! :D

And - anyone remember Flowered Up? Their keyboardplayer Tim Dorney (who ended up in Republica) uncannily resembled Boris Williams, the Cure drummer from the same period.

Porl, when he was in the band, wasn't as fat as Robert. However, Simon always seems to remind me of a hedgehog.

when i met simon, i was shocked at how short and skinny he was, he looked like a troll. roberts got a huge head, perry, jason, and roger were alright, i think roger is the best looking. the ugliest member ever the cure had was Lol, re-watch the video to "other voices", he's scary.

new order is good-looking.

david gahan looks like the lead vocalist for a band called melotron.

but the hottest male lead vocalist for any band has to be chris cornell (soundgarden, and that newer band, i cant remember the name)

your right, mode came first, i was just trying to say they looked alike.

as far as lol goes, not very attractive ever, nor was he a great musician.
