it´s official, he won his 6th championship. now he´s ahead our Juan Manuel Fangio, which really pisses me off!

i wanted Raikkonen to win but his car never worked well enough to beat a strong Barrichello... he needed to be more agressive but he´s got ice on his vains, not exactly the best for these kind of situations. :nonono:

and Ferrari won the constructor´s championship too. this is getting boring. i hope next year will be better, specially for all the other teams but Ferrari.

Barrichello is a fuc.... son of a b....

When he is "supposed" to win, he makes shi....

When he is "supposed" to get away and let the others screw up schumacher, he wins.

He's really a moron... :violent:

Don't worry, it's the last time it will happen :D

Unless Ferrari runs on Michelin tires...

Schumacher deserved to win, he is by far the best driver of his generation. Fair play to him. Could someone give me reasons why Schumacher is so disliked?

I think Michael Schumacher was disliked because when Damon Hill was challenging him for the title (Schumacher was driving for Benetton and I think it was when the last race of the season was in Australia and not at its current location) he hit a wall and when Damon tried to overtake him he swerved into him and Damon was forced to retire from the race shortly afterwards, handing the title to Schumacher. When Jacques Villeneuve was challenging him for the 1997 title in Jerez and managed to overtake him Michael Schumacher tried to do the same thing but that time it didn't work and Michael ended up spinning into a gravel trap whilst Jacques went on to finish the race and take the title (and the FIA later punished Schumacher by removing his name from the final table in that year driver's championship). That's how he got his nickname Shunty Schumacher.

I think the fact that he is German may possibly also have something to do with it. I can't think why that is the case though.

I don't agree with this.

Each time Michael had a good driver to fight with, he lost! Jacques Villeneuve & Mika Hakkinen are the examples.

Give him a real driver in the 2nd Ferrari, and I'm not sure he would have won so many races.. sure he's good, but he does many stupid things when under pressure.

I think Aryton Senna & Alain Prost would have had a better record in the same conditions as Michael..

But that's the F1, if you have the best car and a weak teammate, you're going to win a lot!

Ayrton was the best pilot I´ve ever seen in my life, even if Shummi wins 10 championships. there were excellent drivers on all eras and some of them didn´t even win a title (Gilles Villeneuve, my childhood idol, for ex). btw, do you realize next 1st May will be the 10th anniversary of Ayrton´s death? :eek3:

Nic is right about championships winners always having the best cars to drive. and quite always one team had a massive superiority to the other ones. but that´s F1 and always will be. i think many people watch the first races in order to know which team will lead that year. then never turn the TV on again until the last race because they know who will win at the end.

i hope next year´s better. we need more competition or we´ll be bored again...

More competition? Were you bored? Come on, Alejo! Are you confusing the 2003 championship with the 2002 one? There have been eight different winners (three of them first timers) from five teams this year. It was a tough season, Schumacher won this year's championship by only two points from Raikkonen.

As for the "the best car always win" statement, remember that Schumacher won championships with a Ferrari that was not the best car at the time and he also won two championships with a Benetton!

Hope Nelson Piquet's son will be a good pilot

But still, Michael had no competition from his own teammate...!
