I love that song, but I am just pissed at them since they could not produce any other quality song, but I have not listened to that song for a few months now.
New Order Must be on the list somewhere; number 21 perhaps? Who is/are Dokken btw? In Dutch 'dokken' means one has to pay.
Dokken is an 80's heavy metal band. they did the theme to nightmare on elm street 3, they also sang Breaking The Chains, and Into The Fire...
Dokken is the lead singer;Don Dokken's last name

with NO in the poll; wouldn't that be unfair to the other candidates. ![]()
I voted for The Smiths, but was disappointed that there was no option to vote for either The Darkness, Bal Sagoth, People Like Us or The Cuban Boys! ![]()

Well those bands were not included since it is a poll comprising of our favorite, not most hated, bands :p
I voted for Rammstein, but only because my girlfriend is playing "Mutter" (Mother) at the moment. i think i would like to hear The Smiths right now.
Obviously The Cure.
But The Smiths are so damn good, it's a difficult call. And Depeche Mode and Blur also deserve special mention.
At least half the rest are...hey, where's the "wanker smiley"?

At least they did a cover of Iggy and the Stooges' "Search and Destroy." Not as great as the original, but then, how could it be?

you know "schubert dip" is jammed with tasty little jangles far superior to "unbelievable" ie "lies" & "girl of an age"
maybe if tristan smoked dope, he'd understand the true, hidden meanings in the music of EMF. fuck, i mean i tossed that disk on a few weeks ago and the power from those songs made me get a stupid early 90's haircut and adorn my form with x-tra baggy overalls (with one strap undone, might i add).
