last tuesday began (here) the last season of Friends. do you think it will be the last? other years they used it as a hook to see it. so i´m not sure. anyway, the series has its highs and lows but it continues making me laugh a lot. so i think i´ll miss those 6 guys when it´s finished. well, in that case i´m sure they´ll repeat it from day one anyway! ![]()

fingers crossed it is season two was great but the rest havent been that impressive.
as long as seinfeld comes back on telly regularly i'll be happy anyway
It is the last... for sure.
Next year, a spin-off will be created called "Joey", so you can follow Joey's caracter...
That's what I read...!
Just like Frasier was a spin-off of Cheers..

At least Frasier had some good seasons; Joey is going to be less like Frasier and will parallel Chachi's spinoff of Happy Days.
Those of us who aren't fans of Friends are celebrating the last season of the show. NBC's lame-assed attempt at a replacement, Coupling, has already been cancelled.

Well said.
Used to be a fan of Friends, sort of, up until season 2 or 3. Then it just got nauseating. This opinion has led to "lively discussions" between me, and my brother & his wife, who both still think it's the funniest thing ever.
Won't be sorry to see (hear?) the back of that annoying theme "song" either, but as Almanso pointed out, it'll probably be repeated endlessly anyway.
the lil' lady is something of a fan. me, eh... i could do without. but for mr twin-peaks-overshadowing-everything else, what the fuck are you talking about? you know that cheers pummeled the shit outta twin peaks!
Friends is for birds, no question.
Coupling - is that a remake of the british series of the same name?
yes...one of the networks here thought they could do a version of it...they couldn't...I watched about 10 minutes of the first episode...it was horrid...daft twats should have just put on the original...

I concur.
Anyway, Friends should be wiped off the earth. Horribly awful show. Terribly unfunny. A bunch of perky yuppie New Yorkers talking about their sexual tastes and other idiocies is more than I can bear. If New York was filled with people like that, I wouldn't mind airplanes being crashed into them.
"Friends" is a show that began promisingly (much like "Shining Time Station" with George Carlin as the Conductor) and degenerated into an unwatchable mess (much like "Shining Time Station" with Ringo Starr as the Conductor). There's nothing terribly funny on sitcoms anymore, it's been done to death. And I'll be more than happy to put the first bullet in "Friends"'s rotten, stinking corpse :violent2:
And don't even get me started on "Coupling"'s untimely demise! ![]()
