Seem to recall that there was one sportstalk host, Papa Joe Chevalier on the old One On One Network, who would call the Cowboys stadium "God's Spitton".

I heard that Papa Joe was known more for his cajun recipes than for his sports takes.

He certainly could be; haven't heard him in a long while, so I don't know for sure. I just remember laughing at him while he ranted about whatever, though he wasn't nearly as obnoxiously funny as the clown who followed him, Arnie Spannier, I think.

I listen to him from time to time, we kind of change the radio stations at work on a near-daily basis, but if something big happened in sports, it's a decent bet that we'll be listening to him. I love his attitude with the Buckeye fans who are clamoring to play in the national championship game, despite not having beaten that team from up north. Until they do, I just don't wanna hear the Suckeyes, errrrr, Buckeye, fans complain about anything (I deal with a motor mouth Buckeye fan twice a week, so it's always fun to trade barbs with him; I still think USC would roll Ohio State straight up).

I'm certainly not a clone, but a lot of his takes are right on, at times though he just seems a bit too full of himself and his cleverness, though anybody who can let people like Otis from Austin call in is ultimately all right by me

Sorry though Butch, I gotta say, for this Saturday: HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, even though it won't matter anyway, Oklahoma will roll whoever they play (hope that doesn't upset y'all in Texas too much, though I'm certain the Horns and Aggies will attest to that)
