Well, that´s the english way to say it. on Poland is Warszawa and i don´t think it means the same.

I found something I wasn't aware of.. all most people know, Santa Claus is from St-Nicolas, which was a cardinal (hence the RED in Santa's outfit) giving away gift to the poor children...
Well, a diminutive of Nicolas in DUTCH is Claus... so here you go.. Santa-Claus... !!!! St-Nicolas! :D

I was playing in a band on a cruise in the Bahamas a few years back. I met a wonderful girl from St. Nicholas, Argentina. Her name was Lucia. Beautiful girl, but let's just say 'MUCH TO YOUNG!' There was also a group of guys from Manchester there, though this was before I was an obsessed New Order fan. They drank quite a bit, and had an unexplainable liking for ABBA.
San Nicolás, ah? yeah, i know the city. is like 250km from here on the way to Rosario (350km), the city with (some say) the most beutiful women of Argentina.

not only do we translate city names, but cuts of meat get translated as well, as alejo had pointed out WAY back in the churasco thread.
there, we talked about meat. now no one can say we didn't.
judas priest has the UGLIEST fans by far. watch "heavy metal parking lot" and you'll see what i mean. there is nothing on their that you would want to come in open contact with your genitals, male of female.
