I hope everyone joins with me in cheering on the Scots and the Welsh today.

Euro 2004 Qualifiers

Scotland v Holland 3.00 ko Russia v Wales 4.00 ko

Fingers crossed for a truly heroic performance from the Scots, a 1-0 victory will do for me, hopefully McBerti gets them wound up before the game, I have a few beers chilling in the ole fridge for this game. Hopefully the famous "In" fighting with the Dutch helps us to an unlikely victory. I'll also be cheering on Wales to get them through to their first major finals since 1958, I hope Big Bad John scores a couple:D

Fook the Scoats - why should anyone south of the border support them when you get such an anti-English response from up there whenever England are playing ? I can still remember the comments about supporting Argentina, Brazil etc just because they were playing England. What goes around comes around.

Come on Wales !!

 I have even found a Denmark top for the morra's game;)

 Well done to Scotland, magnificent performance, the whole team was magic, but special mention to both James McFadden & Darren Fletcher......the future's bright.....but the future's certainly not Orange:evil4: Hopefully we can maybe sneak a goal in Amsterdam on Wednesday and really put the pressure on the Dutch:D

 for the scots!

you have the opportunity to show to the world (again) that Holland is the biggest lie about football in the whole history. they didn´t qualified for WC2002 and they´re almost out of the Euro2004.

btw i have nothing against the dutch people, just against their notion of "total football"

and we are trying to imitate them, for christ sake! we´ve been world champions 2 times playinf OUR football. what did Holland win again? oh, yeah, the Euro 88. they must be proud of that! :evil4:

Two great results today. Saw snippets of both games, it looked like Wales could have come away with a win, and Scotland had chances to make Amsterdam a stroll. But as the commentator said, "they can see the summit of the mountain they had to climb."

No way!!! :evil4: Bagpipes rule! I may be Irish, but according to my dad, our family name has roots in Scotland. Maybe that explains my interest in the Scots' national side all these years. I have vivid memories of buying a Scotland shirt before Italia 90. And wearing it proudly the day they played Costa Rica. :nonono: Still, the grief I got must have been mild, compared to born & bred Scots. (By the way, I still have the shirt: one of the finest in my collection!)

F**k it, nearly there lads! :thumb:

party time here yesterday ! despite the freezing cold we threw the back door open just to let the neighbours enjoy our celebrations! Going to work tomorrow is gonna be such FUN :D unfortunately we didn't manage to get tickets for the arena match, we're thinking about going just on the off chance :skeptic:

Holland and Spain are the same - always possess incredible individual talent, but no idea about tactics that bring results in big games - bring back Van Basten
