I love The Onion as a fake newspaper, I enjoy reading it, but the story in the link is too much. Is it funny? Yes, I can relate. What's wrong? It's posted on the website, but it's also in a Onion collection that was published a few years ago. They're just recycling it! How lazy can you get? They don't even have it as a "classic Onion piece" or anything like that...:nonono:

Oh well, it IS a funny story :thumb: (anyone who's been in customer service can relate)

You're just jealous "The Onion" will not hire you :evil4:

Yeah, that too. But that's neither here nor there (plus, there's no credit given to individual writers. I must soothe my ego by having my name in print, and that does not suit me)

does the onion have archives? i read something funny about limp bizkit on page 2, where they do the news briefs a few weeks ago but lost the paper.

I've tried the "search" option once or twice (there was a really good piece about "snobby rock critics" which I thought was funny but never could find again), I don't know if they've got archives or not.

They have archives for the news briefs, but they only go back a couple of months or so. I think they also have archives for the main news items.

I guess it would've helped to have read this little bit at the top

"This issue of The Onion is made from 100 percent recycled materials. We'll return Dec. 3. Read The Onion A.V. Club's all-new issue."
