yes...that reminds me of one I got saying that some lawyer in South Africa had discovered millions of dollars...blah blah blah...and all I had to do was set up an account, the money would be put in the account and we would split it 50/50...yeah fucking right...I might be stupid, but I ain't that stupid...

Hmmm...maybe Nigeria...hell, it might have even been Zimbabwe...I know it was from Africa...and seeing as I don't know anybody over in that part of the world, I didn't really bother committing too much of said mail to memory!:p

For a while I got e-mails offering me the opportunity to buy septic tanks and others for steak knives.

I have never looked for such items on or off line, so I have no idea what prompted that!

i saw a '60 minutes' about those chain e-mails (used to be snail mail letters). they're mostly out of nigeria. mine was, and i sent it to the FBI. i never heard back from them, which was disappointing as i wanted to be involved in a web of international intrigue, like the guy they used to trap the con man on '60 minutes.' oh, well.
