kings have long arms - live at Club Suicide

Hiya,

has anyone heard the new single from Kings Have Long Arms - Rock N Roll is dead? With a vocal from Phil Oakey it does sound pre-dare human league. Ace video as well that you can see on KHLA's website...http://www.kingshavelongarms.co.uk

Also wanted to plug his gig at my Club Suicide night on Friday 19th December. (Manchester, Charlie's 1 Harter street). Reason for that is 'cos I think you'd like it. Stash comes along most weeks so ask him. Last week two blokes appeared early doors about my age - explained that they used to go to the Hac but recently, well there were no nights which they felt comfortable at. Then they saw our flyers and came to our Chicks on Speed gig - loved the records and came here.

It's not retro although next month we will be playing Digital by JD and a Smiths track but it's simply about ace tunes that remind you of the excitement of hearing Unknown Pleasures or Ceremony for the first time and for us that's stuff from the Rapture, Radio Four, White Trash, Peaches, Colder and loads more.

Yeah he did. Probably where he gets much lyrical inspiration from as well, and certainly his dancing resembles the struggle of an eel faced with a landing net !
