Anyways, our new prime minister is STILL another french-canadian.. I'm almost sure since I was borned, we had ONLY french-canadian prime ministers, except one who have been there for 1 year only, all others were non-elected who lost a lot presenting themselves into the next election...

As for Chrétien, the only reason he's been there all this time is because he had no opposition over all those years..

Not really.. even though smoking pot MIGHT (nothing says our new PM agrees with that) not be criminal anymore, it's still an offence, it's just a new way to get money, because you were never arrested for having small quantities..

So it won't change anything, beside the fact that parents will have to pay for their children a pretty fat fine if they are caught...

So the idea would be, don't have more than the limit, keep it at home, and you're fine! but still.. this is not legalisation, as in, nobody will be allowed to SELL it..

Which is pretty stupid in some way, because let's admit that the whole anti-drug thing is just a big failure for everybody in the world, you will NEVER stop it, but admitting this, why just not make sure people doing drugs at least don't risk more than they should, it's probably 99% of shit in there...

I must say even though I do and never did drugs, I just don't see why it's banned, as in, why do our society wants to stop us from doing things? I don't see the harm of regulating its use though.. quite simple, do it at home, otherwise you'll get a pretty large fine... (just as smoking should be IMHO)...

Most of western canada is about to do it because they are just sick Ontario and Quebec get everything ;) Especially Alberta...

It wouldn't take much, but an english speaker who sees Quebec as "just one of 10 provinces", and we're done ;)

I totally understand people of other provinces not being happy with it though, hence why they would kick us out if they could ;)
