Stop Press:

Young Shug Zico-Voeller McSludden will be in the South London area on Saturday, March 20th 2004, to attend two concerts by legendary Kraut technomeisters 'Kraftwerk' at the fabled Brixton Academy.

After agreeing to take my spare ticket for the 8pm showing, he's now landed himself even further after the wife went and bought him a ticket for the midnight showing too..

He's now left with no choice but to make an appearance: it's one thing to fcuk me about for a ticket, but I wouldnae fancy his chances against the Mrs should he be absent on the day!

Keep yer eyes posted for further updates!

PS. Looks like a big London NOOL drink-up might be appropriate for Friday, 19th March then? What with the Hibster, ATR and now wee Shuglet in town for the festivities.. .

Hmmm, a tough one. Do I watch the City lose at Havant (and maybe have beer with Old Blue) or do I let Shug buy me a half ?

And does Shug realise that this isn't a model-making or needlework convention ?

Yeah. Me and JG are doing Mancland, RFH and Brixton. Mickey Way's doing Brixton too, as are the likes of Mike Garrity, Nick King, Donato Brasco, etc.

I cannot see the appeal of Kraftwerk at all. I wouldn't see them if they were playing Tooting Gala, let alone travel to see 'em !

Actually, that's a scary thought. Do you reckon there is a Kraftwerk 'ardcore that will turn up dressed as their heroes? I went to see Grandaddy last week and everyone had false beards...

JG and Mickey Way did Kraftwerk in Paris last year, and some people turned up in the Man Machine red shirts / black ties. :eek3:

ShugZV is already threatening to bring a German flag to the event. Hopefully we'll finally get to see him get his head kicked in! :evil4:

I've always found them boring to listen to, maybe I just don't get the joke.

Not a massive fan of Kraftwerk masel, but hopefully Al is gonna sort me out with a Best Of Collection. German flag in London? Oh yes, with the words "Blue Monday" written on it;)

Be good to see all the lads (and lassies) get together for a weekend piss up. I'll have to buy Old Blue Guy a pint, as he's the only one I've not met up with yet :karate:
