'you did nothing for me'

[update]

hello no'ers,

i just wanted to let you know that we are nearing completion of the audio re-mastering for the 'international 2' 4 disc set..

at this point, i would also like to ask that if anyone would still want a copy, to get there request in NOW.

DEADLINE

the FINAL DEADLINE for requests is now 18/01/04 - sunday

any requests after that will have wait, or you will have to make your own arrangements..

i am doing this now, so that we can organize and start distribution around early february 2004...

NOTE

if you have already made your request, and sent your address, PLEASE WAIT until you are contacted with further information...

and i hope you are looking forward to this..

we now have some artwork/listings/ liner notes for all the discs..

and i am in the process of setting up a small site which will contain all the information for download, for archive/distribution purposes..

thank you for your patience and consideration..

I suspect Prime Management would like a copy, as would London Records.....

Well, if they stopped making their business calculations and/or got off their lazy arses, such fan projects would never have to be organized in the first place.

Will -1 be paying all the publishing fees that will be due to the band, I wonder ?

New Order's management need to get off their asses and capitalize on the bands back catalogue (music and video). I am thankful that -1 is doing this even though i have every song he is putting on the compilation. The shit they put out, like International is ridiculous. Substance and Best of are still well stocked everywhere i go but now we have Int. to clog the shelves when there are tons of tracks people what on CD just collecting dust.

It's not like he's making any money off this project.

Lest we forget Retro - God bless it:lol: Twas only after a great deal of complaining we got the 5th CD remember;)

Brian - International is the only "Official" album I'm yet to get, so if you see it in one of those record stores in Seattle - do me a favour:D

They must have loads of great stuff on video, I've seen camera's at several gigs (and I'm not including the gigs with Michael Shamberg filming on a hand held) doubt we'll ever see this stuff released, whether it's down to the band / management or whether it's a case of copyright I havnae a scooby. But I'm sure if some of this stuff was released and promoted:nod: on here or other websites - it would gain plenty of interest.

-1, I am for freedom of speach, hence why anything (of good taste and within the community guidelines) goes on this board, but still..

These thread should be in the buy/sell/trade forum, as this is trading, just like weeding was...

I dunno. It takes a longer time to plan anything the more people are involved, and I'm sure there are more fingers in the pie than ever. Perhaps the band feels that all the edit versions are horrible and figure that between Substance, The Best Of, International, and Retro, we've had *more than enough* compilations of their old stuff. Though I'm not convinced that a lot of stuff was particularly well-preserved...heck, I will to my dying day insist that the Substance versions of Procession (listen to the outro at about 4:24) and Hurt both were mastered from vinyl...and even the rarities disc of Retro didn't reveal anything that somebody somewhere didn't already have on tape/CD.
