Never really liked them masel, and the fact they constantly got arse licked in all the music papers.
They were always front cover of the NME, Melody Maker and Sounds.....you always had to scratch about to find much NO!
hmmmmmmm....Kraftwerk and the Pixies...might have to make two jaunts out to California this year...
or maybe I should just scrap the February trip altogether...

better than not going at all
a group where the whole has proved to be better than the sum of the parts based on output since!
Oh, my God! I'll be on vacations on May 1st, I can go there. ![]()
Pixies, Kraftwerk and Radiohead in the same festival... ![]()
The only problem is that it's in the US, I'll be humiliated to get my visa and treated like a criminal in the airport. I don't know what to do now. :conscience:
About a month ago the organizer of Rock Werchter in Belgium announced that it was 90% sure that The Pixies will play there this summer. So there's a good chance they will be coming over to Europe as well. Rock Werchter is the same weekend as Glastonbury BTW...
if they're all headlining the first nite, doesnt that mean they're playing at the same time? 5 stages...i'm guessing radiohead takes the main outdoor stage, pixies take the 2nd one, and kraftwerk gets the main tent.

Originally posted by twist Yo your Holieness, will you be going to Coachella?
I only wish I was going, but I'll still be in school then (though it's on a weekend). As I have no vehicle and little money for plane fare, I doubt it. Regardless, tickets are $75 a day and that's far too much, especially as I'd want to go both days to catch the Pixies and The Cure. If you have some spare change lying around to contribute.... ![]()
