Anybody else here a fan of Moby? I think his music is amazing. I have quite a nice collection of moby stuff. Play is my favorite album of all time. I listen to it over and over again without getting tired of it. My second favorite Moby album is Everything is Wrong.

What about you?

Loved his stuff when I first heard of him in 90 or 91...opening for the Shamen...he was a little ball of vigor...

he's okay...but can't sustain my interest like, oh..I don't know...new or...can't say that here...that would make this on topic...oops!!!

Ok what about his cover of new dawn fades on the Play DVD? It's the only thing I listen too from that DVD actually.

Yeah, good cover. You can hear the original Moby version of New Dawn Fades on his album, I Like To Score.

my favorite moby song is "when it's cold, id like to die" and "thats when i reach for my revolver". i only have play, but my girlfriend used to love moby and has a lot of his albums but kinda is annoyed by him now cause of the gwen stefani collaboration and hearing his music over-played in tv commercials. he's funny. i like that. on the dvd of play i only watch "give an idiot a camera". oh, and new dawn fades is also on that tribute to joy division, means to an end.

"thats when i reach for my revolver".

isn't that a mission to burma song?

edit : wait, it is.

Don't mind him too much, though since I hear his stuff all the time, spares me the effort of having to buy most of his music, bought whatever CD single he did that had his version of New Dawn Fades on it, as well as his single of Burma's That's When I Reach For My Revolver ( excellent version there Moby), the death metal version of Whip It on the b-side is good for a laugh.
