My kids (& me a bit!! well big bit) couldn't do without Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Monkey Ball, Metroid Prime & F Zero. Just wondered about the rest of you.

I'm guessing UK scores for GC will be well worse than US, but we'll see!!

I still have fond memories of various platform and golf games on the Atari ST and an Amiga, and have never invested in one of these new-fangled games consoles (though am quite taken by the graphics).

Which should I buy, and why ? My preferred games are Championship Manager, CSI, Law and Order, Golf and Brian Lara's Cricket. Don't like shoot/beat-em-ups.....

The X-Box is better than 90% of pcs today. Memory and video card and processors. X-Box is better than PS2. Who cares if there are more games on PS2, 90% of PS2 games suck. Game Cube??? Nintendo lost out a long time ago.

BTW, did you know you can program your own music for X-box games??

Best game--Dead or Alive:Extreme Beach Volleyball We are talking Jap anim porn!

PS2.

This Is Football series/GTA series mostly. May invest in Tiger Woods 2004. Played a demo recently, reminded me of the days of Leaderboard on the Amiga. Except with better graphics.

M.A.M.E.

Emulators for computers play anything in general. Thinking seroiusly, emulators are the best videogames indeed.

I like my GameCube but spend a lot more time on my Xbox. I recently signed up for Xbox Live (online service) and have been playing quite a bit of Project Gotham Racing 2. My Tag is Andy28 if you want to race.

As mentioned above, many Xbox games support "Custom Soundtracks" which means you can download any songs you want to it's hard drive (mine has over a 1000). Those songs then play instead of the crap music that usually appears. While the Xbox won't recognise CD-R's, I've found you can utilise CD-RW's to get those "unofficial" tracks in the mix.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one... That's the most recent console I have, I use it to satisfy my 20-year-running Pac Man obsession... :D

Obviously its the PS2. The only console to have the greatest game of all time... Pro Evolution Soccer.

Many a night of life has been wasted while we play away at it instead of studying.

Used to really love Sega Genesis. Used to have it hooked up to the local cable company ages ago and played everyday out of boredom while expecting my son; still have it up in the attic somewhere.

Now it's a PS2, I'm afraid. Got one for my son at Christmas and have been playing it just as much as he does every day!!!
