A lot's been made of Kinnear's 'hoofball' and in fairness he does like a Big Fella up front and a Nutter in the middle of the park, but he does also love his wingers. First year at Luton he played some wonderful stuff, but as soon as our wide players went missing last year we had trouble griding out results as he don't like the ball on the ground.

One thing I will say about him is that he puts bums on seats, makes you proud of your club again. He's larger than life and a real showman. We're doing reasonably well this year, considering administration and the shenanigans that went over the summer, but we're still 2k down per game on average and a lot of people attribute that to the fact Kinnear's no longer at the club.

Watch out for his 'irons in the fire' though. Every bloody week at Luton he was talking about a 6ft6 Prem goalie coming on loan, or a wingback from Wolves reserves, or a Tottenham defender who needs a run-out whilst he's coming back from fitness. None of them came of though.

I hope he does well for Forest, if only cos he can help put The Scum down so we can have our local derby back next season (assuming we don't sneak a promotion through the play-offs - hope not cos we'd get mullered in Division One at the moment)..

Whaddaya know? Within three days he's got Impey in on the wing and made a bid for Batty as his token nutter in midfield!

Expect a big man up front soon!

I'm just grateful Mickey Harford finally said "No!" today to joining JK at Forest. Proves there's loyalty in football after all. football365 have even brought out a Harford t-shirt this very afternoon in honour of the fact. What a legend!

What a legend! yes thats good news for luton and well done to mick harford. right hand man to the first team manager is a far more comfortable job than being top kiddy. it would be interesting to see how much forest were offering him. is jk liable to be raiding your club for any more staff??..he currently has bowyer as first team coach and as he was linked to the hart regime methinks he will be unemployed soon. btw mick harford was the nastiest centre forward i ever saw..he spent a couple of seasons at derby towards the end of his career...menacing. we also saw him out round derby on a saturday night on a couple of occasions..even more menacing

Harford is a genuine hardman, unlike most of today's pretenders. Nails. There's numerous stories I could quote about his alleged excursions out and about in Luton. He's also very 'in' with an Oirish family who basically run half of said town. Allegedly. Not a man to be trifled with. Like I said before though, a legend. Very grateful that he's still with us.
