Don't you wish you could have that as your "theme music"? Is it just me, or does everyone want to be as cool as Axel Foley? :)

Never really thought about that at all, always wanted to be as cool as Micheal Caine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Behind The Green Door by The Cramps would be my theme music. :)
I've had "The French Inhaler" by Zevon stuck in my head a few days in a row, but it's a bit down to be a theme song :(
Perhaps the theme from the "Ministry of Information Retrieval Basement" tracking scene in Brazil (was used recently for the TV ads of Matchstick Men, in case you have no clue what I'm talking about) ![]()
Actually, I heard it was written and performed by Gillian and Tony Wilson....

And if you believe that!!!!????.....![]()
I've had "West end Girls" and "(Welcome Home) Sanitarium" in my head for a few days - but not simultaneously.

"Get Carter" would be a good Michael Caine related theme to have, but probably wouldn't really fit in with most people's lives.

Let me guess, the fact that Comedy Central has been showing BH Cop the last couple of days wouldn't have anything to do with this thread now, would it?
Watched the strip club scene just a few minutes ago, funny stuff indeed.
Whilst on Comedy Central, I've gotta vent about them chopping some movies up (badly) for broadcast. Caught part of the Big Lebowski this weekend, and boy was that a disjointed mess. I know there's probably not much else they coulda done, but it really does the movie no justice at all ![]()
7 drunken nights by the dubliners is as good a theme as any, I never got the Axel F as cool bit,he got on me nerves, the character in 48 hours though, now he was cool, but only in the first film after that it was Eddie by the numbers. As a slight meander from the thread, just recieved a Richard Prior collection on disc, funny as ...k
