Old Noodles discovering Elizabeth McGovern's son is a Young Max. De Niro and Max / Senator Bailey coming together at the end. All fantastic stuff.

My Own Private Idaho - the scenes in Portland when Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix are street hustlers.

The Outsiders - the drive-in movie scene at the beginning.

The Breakfast club - the dance scene does rule, doesn't it?

Requiem for a Dream - the end, when all of the characters' fates are shown simultaneously.

Full Metal Jacket - most of the scenes in bootcamp. The rest of the movie seemed rather anticlimactic.

The Crow - when Eric (Brandon Lee) is resurrected and is in his former apartment, putting on makeup, to the Cure's "Burn" in the background.

Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust - the scene in Camilla's palace/castle toward the end.

I'll think of more later.

How's about the opening scene of Scream starring, um, Drew Barrymore. Who doesn't even make it to the opening credits.

Or Samuel L Jackson's untimely death halfway through Deep Blue Sea just as he's giving his rousing speech. That one made me jump at the time.

or the opening scene of commando, where they decide to cram in all that "character building crap" which constitutes all of any good film, into 21 seconds of arny cutting logs, looking muscular, petting a deer, and hugging his kid.

21secs later he revolvs his tool shed, to expose an arsenal that d-fens would be proud of.:smoking:
