No, I don't mean England's blowing out of the Windies, but the Telegraph Fantasy Crciket Competition, which starts on April 18th. Only international games this time as opposed to the County circuit, which seems a good move to me.

Any takers besides me and Hibster this year ?

Which is probably just as well for them - means Glasster have more chance of winning something. I think I'm supposed to support Glaaster as well now, seeing as the outlaws are Glaaster folk and all that.....

England invented the game, and despite the best attempts by those we kicked out to try and teach us how to play it, we remain the most entertaining side in world cricket. Nobody else (well maybe Bangladesh or the Windies) could be as crap for so long and still be proud of it. Cricket is huge in England, as you'd expect, but most Europeans will just look blankly at you if you mention it.

How do you play it ? Hitting a ball with a bat. I shan't go into the ins and outs of it here, the scratch head smiley will be in use after a while !
