Appalling

Two weeks ago when I was up at my parents' house I went with my brother to a local gaming store. They sell a multitude of trading card games such as Magic and such, there is a network computer room to the side where people can play certain online rpg's against each other for a few bucks an hour, and there's an epileptic unfriendly DDR Extreme machine. I went there so my brother could play in a Pokemon tournament ; there were only 8, 9, 10 year olds and some pre-teens. I noticed that nearly every kid was obese and had tits larger than Pamela Anderson. Does anybody else find that the kids who play such trading card games are always fat. Does this happen accross the pond or Down Under as well?

Exactly how big are Pamela Andersons breasts.

Kids over here don't play trading card games. Not on an organised scale, they do in school playground, but that's about as far as it goes.

It possibly has more to do with eating habits. Buy smaller plates, you don't need that amount of food to exist. Americans have the world's biggest obesity problem, and it's got fuck all to do with trading cards !

I know it doesn't have to do with the cards; the prob is that instead of playing cards and video games, the kids should be playing soccer or basketball. Biggest companies to blame are Sony and McDonald's, and as always, American parents are to blame as well.

I was only wondering if other people have seen obese gangs like I have.

tristan here's an idea:

some fat kids, feeling non-athletic, are further discouraged because of their size, and so they turn to activities that don't involve loads of athletisicim. instead, they choose to engage in cranial stimlation like the number crunching, and strategy of card & r.p. games.

oh jeez... here in ajax, the only people that play cards and hang out at the comic/card shop are the geekiest of geeks who are exclusive to my former place of education - catholic school board -

these people are fat, acne ridden people who are obsessed with hockey, magic cards, and anime... (i even suspect that one of them is into hentai, as i found it on his computer once)...

many of them are very good friends however...

My boys have those fucking yugi and Pokemon cards. they are not fat. They also ride bikes, as much as 1000 miles per year. But the ards are annoying as the neighbor kids invade our home about 9 am on Saturday to trade and fight, making too much noise and pissing the dog off.

What is worse are those mofos with big ass subwoofers blasting some unitelligble shit hop with total bass. Had one behind me today in a piece of shit Olds bombing away. I considered sitting at a green light just to piss him off.

Yeah a lot of those geeky gamer kids are fat, but so what? (I played Magic myself for a short time back when it first came out, but destroyed my deck in a religious ritual. and i'm skinny. well, not as skinny as i was then, but whatever.) Let them enjoy the few things in life that allow them a bit of social interaction and nerdy pleasure. After all, they aren't getting girls or going to drinking parties and what all else normal irresponsible people do.
