I say that because A&E (The World War II Channel) is finally devoting an hour to the Master of All Things Funny tomorrow night at 8PM EST. Yes, "Biography" (which usually focuses on shitheads like Simon Cowell and Hitler) is doing the man justice by talking about his life and (much too early) death. One only hopes it'll be as classy as can be, and not some tarted-up retread of "E! True Hollywood Story".

That being said, I never thought his Clinton impression was the best (Darrell Hammond nailed Tricky Bill), but everything else was pure genius. :thumb:

His SNL skit of Clinton going to Mc Donald's was prophetic.

"There's alot of things we aren't going to tell Mrs. Clinton!"

RIP Phil

Hartman as Sinatra was classic--

Calling Bono "Potatohead," Sinead O'Connor "Skinhead,", telling Billy Idol "I got chunks of guys like you in my stool" before sending Steve & Edie over to get a beating from Mr. Idol...

Pure comic genius.

Also as the lawyer Lionel Hutz: "I watched Matlock in a bar last night. The sound wasn't on, but I think I got the gist of it".

Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You might remember me from such educational films as "Two Minus Three Equals Negative Fun" and "Firecrackers: The Silent Killer."

Don't let the name fool you, Billy. It's not really a floor at all...more of a metal grating that allows materials to sluice through and be collected and exported.

Don't forget 'Stop the Planet of the Apes, I want to Get Off'... He was going to be the voice of Zapp Brannigan of Futurama too...

I'm sorry, your honor, but I was distracted by the voices coming out of this magical box

The Bio was pretty good, albeit no mention of his great cameo in "How I Got Into College". Makes you wish his life story didn't have to be in past tense :(

On SNL, Hartman as Barbara Bush, having to forcibly remove Nancy Reagan from the White House as Reagan's term expires...

I couldn't help but think of that today when I saw some footage of the Reagans leaving the White House in the hands of George and Barbara
