Anyone up to much? Me, I went to Paris yesterday 1st class Eurostar on a belated Valentines gift and am just getting over the whiskey hangover...

Had planned to do Durutti Column with Johnny G on Thursday but ended up stopping in the pub with the lads and he sauntered off to the gig on his own (he loves his tunes does JG, we couldn't persuade him to stop with us - er, unless he just really doesnae like us!).

R&R Friday.

All day drinking 'Up West' (with football squeezed in) Saturday.

R&R today.

Football again tomorrow (not too much drinking though as big week in work ahead).

Catching up with JG for Client on Tuesday though (I will make the gig this time!).

watchin rugby, drinking, went to see the stone circle at avebury, silbury hill etc, catching up with mates for a curry, drinking, stayed in all day on saturday with the misses as we had the place to ourselves, drinking, went to see amsterdam (the band not the place), drinking.

Looked for a house and then I found a house, viewing it tonight £75,000 for a two bedroom mid terrace :nonono: Went on the piss on Saturday - spent Sunday recovering and watching Celtic beat Livvy 3-1 in the Scottish Cup Semi Final, yesterday was spent picking me fookin nose. Back at work today :sleep:

3 or 4 year ago I would have picked up a cracking 3 bedroom house for £75k.

I get paid fook all - hence it being a lot of money for me.

Still, there's talk of the Council re-opening the train station (or building a new one) in the next 4 or 5 years, so the prices will probably double - even more of a reason to get sorted asap!

Apparently Corby is the biggest town in Britain which doesnae have a train station. You lear something useless every day :beer:

Are you going to buy this house? Is that the general price in Corby for the size of house? It's near to half of what this money would buy where I live :eek3:

My Easter weekend was spent with my mates near the top end of the country. It went like this:

Saturday: R&R all day, light partying at night Sunday: R&R all day, had some peeps up to the house at night Monday: R&R all day, big night out Tuesday: cleaned house up, got train home

Exciting, eh?
