CHAMPIONS!

Deservedly so too.Now they must go on and win the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to show what a truly great side they indeed are.The quality of football and the excellent way in which they play has shown just how far they have come recently.I think it would be UNJUST for them to lose a match now.To go a WHOLE season without defeat is a FANTASTIC achievement.Much as i shouldn't be happy about their achievements you have gotta admire CLASS when you see it.Welldone and hope we finish above you NEXT season.![]()

I MEANT in future years with THIS team.
Without this trophy they will never be regarded(in my eyes) as the BEST OF THE BEST in their era. This team is truly exceptional in our own league but without WINNING the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE one could say that in years to come this set of players will NOT be remembered as being as good as they ARE.Cheers though for reading my post!

And also SHOULD you be posting on this site anymore. How fickle! :p
*sigh* Congrats to Arsenal indeed, a nice way indeed to clinch the title. As for depthcharge's pic, found this other one taken just a wee bit later.......

yep . hats off to the arse, they have done it in style.
even if they get beat in the season wind down (which i hope they dont) because id like to see it achieved in my life time.
last ones to do it was pne if im mistaken pne= preston north end for our foreign? posters which was donkeys years ago.
i digress, henry & co have done a top job, congrats.![]()
Well done. It certainly will be some achievement if they remain unbeaten in the final few games. Apart from winning the European Cup, as RM said, the next goal should be to actually retain the title, something Arsenal have never achieved. (To the best of my knowledge, at least. Please put me straight if this is wrong, Arsenal fans).
p.s. I hope they take good care of the trophy. It's only a loan deal, same as last time!!! :D ;)
Scott Parker finishing ahead of John Terry or Kolo Toure as 'Young Player of the Year' though.
Can anyone explain that?
Is it the PFA awards they vote for dead early in the season. Like, January or something? He might've been superb up till then but his petulant behaviour at getting a move away from Charlton and his relative anonymity in the Chelsea team doesn't strike me as a true 'winner'. His captain at Chelsea, John Terry, must be wondering what the hell he's got to do to win the award?!
Doesn't make a lot of sense. Terry has been superb this season after a difficult time off-pitch the previous year, reminds me of the way Beckham got on with the job after the 1998 World Cup. Toure has been a real revelation, when he first got a game as wide right he looked like a headless chicken, he's just got better and better as a defender and will be around for years. Parker's over-rated anyway I think, and as you say hasn't exactly done himself any favours either with his toy-throwing over the Chelsea move or by going there in the first place, he ain't gonna get the regular football he needs to develop his international career. All potential England players are better off getting out of Chelsea's rotation.
John Terry and Kolo Toure both look about 35, maybe that's why Parker won it![]()
Fair play to The Arse - well deserved Championees. Dunno what they'll do when Terry Henry fucks off next year![]()
Probably promote that Aliadiere, he's rumoured to be the next Henry, and David Bentley will be a major star in the next couple of seasons. It's quite frightening, all these wonderkids in the same team. Plus their feeder team is coming together nicely, Beveren in Belgium has half the Ivory Coast international side (and Toure's brother), some of the kids there have to be seen to be believed, Arthur Boka, Joscelyn Pehe, Gilles Yapi-Yapo, all quality late teens. The Ivory Coast could well be the next big footballing breakthrough nation.
Fook me, 10,000 by the end of the week if every time I post I get a double-up ! Suppose I ought to use this thread for something useful then.
Shug - either of the Keanes to Celtic you reckon ?
Hats off to SPURS for not letting them take the title with a win! ![]()
Must have been hard handing them the title at White Hart Lane but you played well, did yourself justice and deserved your draw!!
Congratulations Tottenham!!! ![]()

They are the ones that are voted for after half the season, which is totally pathetic. How can you ignore what happend in the most critical part of the season. What possible reason could they have for doing it?

If the papers are to be believed, they've got Van Persie in the bag for next season as well.
Really need decent back-up in the right-back and central defensive positions first I'd have thought though?

Is Van Persie another Anelka type though ? Yes, I'd agree that they need another quality centre-half (unlike Cygan and that Stepanovs donkey). Clichy looks the biz at left-back, Senderos will also be a star in time to come. Wiltord needs flogging though.

Definitely - I'd take the both of em. Master Keano still has a good year or two left in him, and it would be great to see him getting stuck in against the forces of darkness. Robbie Keane would be my choice for Henrik's replacement, no-one's gonna be as prolific - but Robbie Bhoy is a self confessed Tim and would do a great job - I'd love to see his machine gun celebration against the Huns at Ibrox.
As fer Anelka in yesterdays News Of The World, I pray to God they've got it wrong as usual! He missed a good 5 chances on Saturday, and is generally a lazy moody moaning twat.

Aye, but against crap defences he could be good for 50 goals a season !
