Just to show there is more to LIFE than FOOTBALL!
Thought LIVERPOOL were more composed and deserved to win.Spent the match in HARRY'S BAR in the middle of town where the LIVERPOOL fans outnumbered the MANYOO fans.Lot's of good banter and ended up with me buying a round for thes scousers at fulltime. So enjoy it while the euphoria lasts and perhaps your manager will stay now.Congratulations from all here at THE RED PLANET ROCKET.

Cheers lads, here's a copy and paste of my thoughts.
United looked poor apart from a few glimpses down the wings. We looked to have more of the mid-field and pushed onto them in the first half. Hamann burst into a shooting position after one such build up. Owen though, despite our superiority in mid-field remained largely isolated. On the one occasion he broke free, having latched onto a throw-in, he meekly crossed a ball across goal, surely he was aware how far head of the rest of the team he was, was he making a point by crossing to no-one in particular?
Honours even after a fairly lack-lustre first half, perhaps the heat was a factor. I expected to come under the cosh a lot more and MUFC to step things up 2nd half. If anything they were worse after the break, perhaps Scholes and Van Nistlerooy would have helped them but again, only Giggs and more so Ronaldo were any real threat to us. Riise and Carragher didn't buckle and both came out of their repsective battles with credit.
Again we had the upper hand through the middle with Murphy dictating things and working hard but we were unable to feed Owen and our patient play wasn't really hurting them. Gerrard was perhaps a little more detached from play than he usually is. This perhaps gave him the freedom that allowed him to make a run that won the game When out of what was turning into one of the drabbest encounters of recent years he emerged as our saviour, yet again. After the penalty we suffered a spell when again their wide players got on top and we were rocking and rolling at the back for a while. We survived and steadied things until the last five minutes, during which, a last ditch assault was mounted but in truth they never really threatened after that aforementioned period.
Credit where it's due, your lads deserved it Hank. There seems to be a bit of fight & passion missing from some of the United side and you're not gonna get much out of games like yesterday's without it.

My mate texted me from Gran Canaria, saying news travels fast.. and then had a little dig! I was so amused that he had taken the time out from sunbathing and drinking to text me that i was most amicable in my reply and actually congratulated him :D
