NBC is in such bad shape right now; in recent years it has lost the NFL, the NBA, Seinfeld, this year it will have lost Friends and Frasier. The saving grace for NBC is now The Apprentice :evil4:.

I'm not a big Friends fan; I thought it was a good show 5 years ago, and I mainly watch the syndicated episodes rather than the new ones. Am I the only one who thinks Jennifer Anniston looks better in the older episodes rather than now?

I wonder if anyone will manage to have success after that.

Will they try a Friends movie?

Most of them are typecasted, it's difficult for them to change that..

remember the seinfeld spin-off shows? they sucked. i can see ross doing stuff on stage, anniston more shit romantic comedies, cox doing nothing, chandler doing a movie here and there, that dumb girl doing shit, and that muscle guy doing nothing but dating models. i think he'll have the best after-friends life.

Evil idea :nonono:

They will most likely do a reunion episode every ten years and that'll be it. Maybe every year there will be a public gathering at the fountain in Burbank in front of the NBC studios to mourn the loss of this great show. :evil4:

Also the fact that she started wearing bras a couple of years ago has put me off a bit!

FUCK NO! It's shows like that that make the world a worse place. Any retarded 5-year-old could shit out a better script than one of those godawful episodes. And who the fuck could actually get upset about that steaming decade-old colostomy bag finally going off the air? If all New Yorkers were like the characters on that show, I wish airplanes would crash into them everyday. :machinegun:

No, not one of my fave shows, I've seen a total of 20 minutes in the existence of that show, so that'll be the grand total. Looks like there's a Most Extreme Challenge (or Takeshi's Castle) mini-marathon on Spike, so I'll flip between that and some apocalyptic show about the end of the world that's on the Discovery Channel, might as well go for the extremes.

I just love the fact that the two more recent famous NY sitcoms were shot in LA. The only show I know that has a NY setting as an integral part of the show and is filmed in NY is Law & Order.

I do not remember when i last watched a new episode of Friends. Kinda of a lad's show if you know what I mean.

I would like Seinfeld or Wings back. But Friends sucks, really...

It's not due to air here for about 3 weeks. I have no doubt that it will be the best 'Friends' episode ever... since it'll be the LAST. Thank fuck!

Err... no. I won't be watching.

Didn't watch, didn't care. Show isn't that good, and bad memrories of Seinfeld's shit series finale back in '98

It wasn't the best ever....

Trust me.

Friends was the last US show I was lasting since they cancelled the X-Files.. (ok, Simpsons and Survivor).. I found it quite funny, but hey, it's seems I'm alone on this one... :skeptic:

All sitcoms suck right now. Exept "that 70's show" But I will only watch it if its on when I'm channel surfing.

I did watch about 30 minutes of it and I was borred. Well at Least Survivor was on before it. (Go Boston Rob Go)

Will and Grace is the best sitcom to come from the US in years. Friends should of finished years back, the same time everyone stopped watching it.

i used to hate 'friends,' but that was because of the hype and i refused to watch it. however, once i caught an episode or two i realized it was quite funny. now i watch re-runs when i come across them and i enjoy the show a lot. i don't like sitcoms in general, but i think 'friends' is one of the better ones around.

i think i'll be skipping 'joey,' though. much of the humour on 'friends' comes from the chemistry of the cast, and i can't see matt leblanc carrying his own show.

oh, by the way: NOTHING can compare to the finale of MASH. it still brings me to tears when i watch it.

Not quite alone, Nic. My brother & his wife are OBSESSED with the show. Where most people have a collection of books on a bookshelf, theirs is taken over by every series available on VHS. It wouldn't surprise me if they bought them all again on DVD! To be honest, I found the show OK for the first series or two, but the appeal just wore off after that. Of the bits I've seen since, the only character I found amusing is Chandler, I think it's the sarcastic streak. As for Ross, I'd love to rip off one of his arms & beat him senseless with it. :evil4:

I used to like it, mainly for the whole Ross-Rachel thing (and the fact that I was a moronic 15-year old with a pizza face who thought "If a loser like him can get a girl as hot as that, there's hope for me yet") but I stopped watching years ago when it got boring as hell. I did watch the finale, though, and it was nothing special.

There are three words we will (hopefully) never have to see flashing on TV screens from now on: Courtney Cox Arquette :barf: :nonono:
