I admit we're shite but to aim since November for the Holy Grail of fourth and not aim higher seems quite sad really. I just hope Michael Owen doesn't take any pens in Portugal.![]()
For someone who's had a allegedly 'shit' season and been out for a quarter of it, Michael Owen knocking in 20 goals isnt to bad.

Doesn't it feel a bit like you're laughing at someone tripping over a kerb whilst you're being run down by a bus*?

Maintained his career goals ratio of 1 in 2.
Nope 4th aint good enough for us
, but it will do for this season.
Now if we spend 60million of starving poverty stricken people's money we may get half a team.:\ohwell:
I also see the English Rags believe you's are gonna get MON
It's about time they woke up down here.
I thought yer chairman was spot on about Houllier though....."He's in his sixth year of a five year plan"
Is Owen staying then?

Owen has said "he sees himself at Liverpool next season" and that "he won't leave on a Bosman".
Well see how he does in Portugal first eh? If he knocks loads in hell leave for Spain. If he plays to this seasons form (missing sitters & penalties) he`ll stay, cos no-one else will want him (except leeds!)

It says a lot about yours that you're only one place ahead of us and also having to pre-qualify for the Champions League group stages.
RVN only missed ONE penalty.
3rd is STILL above you.
We`ll still finish the season with silverware.
Someone remind me what the final score at Old Trafford was a couple of weeks back when Scum United played the Scousers...

We managed one goal less than in the League Cup final from last year so that meant final score was 1-0. Danny Murphy penalty after Steven Gerrard flew past that pikey looking fooker with the bum-fluff goaty, like he was stuck in a bog, only to be hauled down.

Appallingly weak attempt at a put down considering we beat
them at Anfield earlier in the season... ![]()
Now had you mentioned Wolves or Pompey and you might have got a reaction... but you didnt!! :p
I hope those Millwall boys kick the stuffing out of Scum United in Cardiff. When is Sir Alex Twat-Features going to retire like he promised he would a few years back?
It's blantantly obvious he's lost his magic touch. Sure, MUFC can still make 3rd in the Premiership easily enough, but think what they could do if they hadn't got a boss who is so obviously past his managerial prime...

If only RVN had ONLY missed one...remember ARSENAL,CHELSEA......and there ARE more. The ARSENAL one was very costly at that time. But third is VERY poor by UNITED's recent standards but fair play to ARSENAL and CHELSEA.As for LIVERPOOL they have still achieved as much as UNITED in the LEAGUE this season and have done well to get to 4th spot.So well done to HANK's team. Now as for beating MILWALL.....hell it could be ANOTHER disaster for UNITED yet.
But that's football...you win SOME ...you LOSE lot's.Except in ARSENAL's case in the league this season. What an achievement it will be to go a whole season without defeat.![]()
