I can't think why he was invited on even if he has a new album out, perhaps b/c ross is a fan? or should i say was? after that performance on what is a fast upbeat and sympathetic show i'd doubt he'd ask moz back.

there *was* something odd about his look but i couldn't put my finger on it... trendy art teacher? vain social worker? miserable old bloke washed and shoved in smart clothes?

I was quite intrigued with mozzer on this interview. I thought it was very entertaining. Yes Mozzer is a twat and I'm not sure that he knows it but Jonathan Woss is just a twat as well and it was entertaining to see them bounce off each other. Mozzer looked nervous, vulnerable and yes a twat but also at stages he looked like he wanted to rip Woss' head off which is a in my book.

His vocals on his new song started off uncomfortable but it really took off after the 1st chorus.

Every day is like Sunday was a classic and was brilliantly done on Woss' vehicle.

Yes Mozzer is a nob. Pretentious without a doubt. BUT he is also a great entertainer. And you have to give him that. Should have got those tix after all.....

Yep people take Morrisey far to seriosly. He isa twat but he made some terrafic music. I just found that interview very funny. To me he didn't come across as arogant at all.

ok it didnt work but at least he's experimenting and trying new stuff out. solo moz is just like the smiths only without the great guitar work. he hasn't done anything really challenging to his fans.

now i was photographing at a charity gig a few weeks ago and got to take a photo of Jeff Beck which got published along with a whole bunch of other shots. My muso friends creamed their pants when I said that JB was standing about 10 yds from them, but to a lot of other people (including me) it was 'Who?'. So downloaded his album 'jeff' after reading about it. To my mind it didnt work but had some interesting pieces in it. But then it wasn't a bunch of rehashes of 'hi ho silver lining', he was working with a bunch of different musicians and trying stuff out. OK (to my mind) it didn't work but kudos for trying it out and trying to progess as a musician.

moz just needs to curl up and disappear up his own arse. the only reason he continues to get exposure (and im talking a couple of stories on the front page of BBC news online) is a few people in broadsheet newspapers like him which adds legitimacy to anything mundane. Would we see harry potter being read by adults on trains if it was the sun that first talked about it? i think not somehow
