You really, really need to frequent this place

If you have not checked this out you need to. I have been able to get about 5 NO gigs and a few JD gigs from here. Just be aware that sometimes the DLs are long and you may have to get a free player since most of the files are flac not mp3. My burner converts them to wav automatically.

The flac files are very good quality.

The only thing that sucks is that the downloads are not resumable and that you need to download the entire gig at one time. But I found that my family will stay off the computer while I am DLing.:D

Well slap my ass and call me randy, they are resumable, sometimes. I was just getting a good DL and returned to find my internet discoed. I had to reboot and start over with 15%. In the past the dls were toast if I lost them.

I am using the software that cam from the STG site.

The downloads are resumable, at least in TorrentStorm, the application I'm currently using.

The only thing that sucks is that you cannot preview the files while downloading.

Most have a reliable rating and description posted. Many even have the lineage listed.

I am having trouble downloading these sets. Can any one offer some advice?

Far from it Jason, it is not an elite. A few months ago we began a series of live recording weedings, but a pattern quickly emerged that people were registering with the site, taking a copy of the CD from the weed and then disappearing, neither weeding it onto other people as was the rule nor contributing anything to the NOOL community. Furthermore, these recordings were suddenly appearing on Ebay at a cost - our generosity was being abused by wankers out to make a quick buck.

The solution to this was to place a restriction on the accessibility of the weeds until members had attained a certain number of posts, and were thus seen to be someone who actually made some kind of effort to contribute to the community. That's the way it is, it's up to you whether you stick around long enough to qualify for access, everyone has to start somewhere.

Gracias Detweiler for the clarification. And I actually agree, since that happened. That does suck, however, a few "wankers" ruined it for some of us "newbees". Especially if they were just after a quick buck!

' I would think people would want to share knowledge about NO ' Well , these boards actively encourage the sharing of KNOWLEDGE , yet that is not what you are asking for is it ? Your final line seems designed to elicit some sort of reaction along the lines of ... Hell no, were not bound by rules , heres the key to the door . Cheecky twat? eh Not very keen w/my English slang, but does't sound like me. I finally find "a thousand people just like me" and yes, maybe I was a bit bitter at the fact because I am new and was not privleged enough to recieve help with the downloads. After the explaination I understand and fully agree. Hardly trying to appeal to the masses. As for knowledge, live sets of JD/NO would be knowledge to me. Living in the states it has been hard to catch NO live.

Jason, did you figure out how to do the downloads?? Email me and I will reply with instructions.

To All, I was unaware that people were using these for Ebay. Sorry for any issue I may have caused.
