Tough ones to call, these playoffs.

Crystal Palace vs. West Ham United Bristol City vs. Brighton & Hove Albion Mansfield Town vs. Huddersfield Town

not sure I could call any of them. Hoping for West Ham, Brighton and Huddersfield though.

Did it the hard way, to say the least. A reconstruction on Crimewatch could be required. Think if I was a Swindon fan I'd be absolutely gutted.

Right, I've stopped thinking about that now. Not sure we can beat Bristol City, but like you say, it's a day out...

Was it just me, or did the player who took the throw-in for your equaliser step about a yard over the touchline before he released the ball??!!??

You say that as if it's a bad thing...

I assume you noticed the APLOMB with which Iwelumo dispached his penalty?

Yup, the lad done good!! I was watching the TV after going to the pub, so I wasn't sure if my eyes were deceiving me: it was on Central Sports (who, for some reason, think Swindon is in the Midlands) and the commentators said nowt about the sheer criminality of that last goal. Still, what drama!! The Mansfield game was pretty exciting too....

Baaadiff is a really GREAT day out: the police are very tolerant; the hundreds of pubs and bars welcome you with open arms regardless of how inebriated you are; and the stadium is great. Obviously, it'll hurt like hell if you lose, but enjoy the build-up, 'cos it's followed by 90+ minutes of trying not to shit your pants...

Looks like we will have some fun next season when the yorkshire hordes invade the withdean.

Alledgedly this is the away end

Indeed, tis the away end. Just pray you get 'em on a lovely Bank Holiday afternoon like we did this season, and not a cold Tuesday neet come midwinter.

The surrounding streets are quite a joy to behold compared to most footballing areas in the UK though. Real suburbia. The locals must really look forward to matchdays! :evil4:

Can you really see Leeds getting an away match at the seaside on a bank holiday ??

though not

cold tuesday in mid-winter it is then

I can hear the Leeds players now : "You what! You mean we've got to get changed in a PORTAKABIN!!!"

Shalln't rant about the state of our "stadium", at least as an away supporter you only have to suffer it once a season! I just hope Prescott saw the 30,000 odd at Cardiff yesterday, gets his f**king finger out and gives the club the go ahead to build a proper home.

As for Cardiff, marvellous scenes! Made the eight hours spent in the car (mainly queueing on the M4) worthwhile...

Oh, slight inaccuracy in your pic Hac. That's a home stand. The away one is in the top left. The same, except bigger(!).

How many did you take? I imagine Bristol City had a few there - they took 35,000 (same as us) at the 2000 Autoglass Trophy Final, which is obviously tinpot nonsense compared to a play-off final....

Don't know the exact figure, around 30,000 I think.

There were visibly more of them, but we were louder...

Aye - well done to Brighton, hopefully they get the ground sorteed soon. Totally forgot you's were managed by an ex Celt Blue Guy:nonono: According to reports there were indeed 30,000+ Brighton fans at the game.

The speed with which that was ripped down at the final whistle was astounding. Obviously been to the Andy King school of counting chickens...
