The bottle opener was on the floor next to the computer. Here I had to walk outside in my underwear to get a set of pliers out of the Jag so I could open a beer.
Damn, my wife was right...

The images this conjures up of your decadent lifestyle;)
I I wanted a twist cap I'd be drinking water. However, the beer in question was purchased at Aldis, our local off brand store for poor folks. Wernesgruner, a pilsner from Germany that really needs a lime to cut the skunk. But at $4.99 a 6 pack and at this store (never knew they sold beer) it was a bargain.
As for extra bottle openers, I have one in my bike bag, one in the bikes panniers and another one floating around the house. The one I found I am going to attach a string to and nail it to the wall.
Well, I'm not 100% sure of this, but most locally produced beers have twist caps.. useful, and they are not shit!! really good beers...
(I'm not talking about Molson, which is the beer to drink if you want to get drunk though!)
let me rephrase my statement Nicos...almost all of the beers with twist caps that are available to ME are piss water...
I guess I should think before I make blanket statements, eh?

I like the cut of your jib, Twist.
Nice turn of phrase: "Cut the skunk".
What does it mean? To take the edge off the smell/taste?
:\pimp3:
This shit tasted like Heineken. Smelled like it, too. Needed the Corona treatment, limes. A lime wedge removes the smell and taste of such beer.
