My computer is still virused. I have installed anti virus software and have removed quite a few thanks to a link that was put up a few weeks ago (cheers one brain!)
Anyone know how to get rid of the rest? is there like a programme that just removes all viruses or do i have to do them individually?
I know this isn't going to help much - I know fuck-all about computers anyway - but my brother-in-law, who's slightly more knowledgeable than me about these things says you ought to consider getting yourself a Mac, since there are virtually no viruses designed for those... Apparently PC viruses are designed by the good folk of Microsoft themselves to help the likes of Norton and Symantec boost their businesses... 
As you already have an anti-virus your next step is getting a good trojan cleaner. I recommend Ad-aware which is free for personal use and can be downloaded from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download. Don't forget to update the application before running a scan.
Right, got that. But it seems that websites (like the forum on this site) and still 'frozen' until i press refresh and that sometimes i get a load of ads when i go to google. any idea.

this may be annoying if you already have a virus, but for future virus free, easy computer usage:
both take around 15 mins to download a home (with other applications running), and , combined, keep out more viruses than fortress europe and a 30 ft high security wall combined :D
AdAware 6 and Spybots Search and Destroy are the best free stuff. They are not mutually exclusive and should be used one after another. They also need to be updated frequently. AdAware 6 has more frequent updates and runs faster than Spybots. Spybots will clear out your cookies, history files ect that AdAware does not.
I run Spybots first then AdAware. Yes, Adaware 6 catches what Spybot misses.
If they fail, I run HighJackThis.
