but it is maybe the one real difference between less intelligence animals and smarter animals who masturbate... so maybe masturbation is a sign of intelligence, and the more you do ... well... maybe not :scratch:

There are some lizards or reptiles or some sort of creatures that start wanking before humping the female. The current theory is that the wankers are smaller and less able to select and breed with a female. BUT if they are very "excited" before they make penetration their sperm will let loose inside her before a bigger lizard kicks him off. They kinda wank a bit then make a quick move to a female when she least expects it. Sneak up when no one is looking, wham bam, thank you maam! THUS they are able to share their dna despite a bigger and more suitable male gets to unload his in hers.
