ermm...sorry...I don't get it...he's being pursued by one of the most popular clubs in the world in Celtic...he also has a chance to play in the English Premier League...and he has supposedly signed with some no name ouffit...
Makes no sense to me...but I reckon I'm a little bit jaded...wait...I got it...it's like Pele coming to North America to play in the NASL back in the 70's....hell, I still don't get it...nevermind...

I think it was a case of him playing teams off of each other to see how much money he could get. To use a proper Corby phrase "Fuckim" one minute he's saying Glasgow is a "Temple of Football" the next he's saying he is relishing the challenge of the Premiership down South, and finally he's off to where the money is. Got to be honest, a Brazilian Star playing in the SPL? Fantasy stuff indeed.
And I want none of the smart arse England fans to mention Rafael Scheidt (yes SHITE:D )
Thing is, Scheidt wasn't shite at all, he was a pretty useful defender, and an exponent of Futebol de Salao. Suspect he preferred beaches to cold wet and windy mornings training in Glasgow though.....and that probably influenced the management decsion not to pick him. We're used to it - must be a hell of a culture shock for someone not used to it though. Look at Branco when he went to Smogland !

Rafael? Where does one begin? He played 2 or 3 games and proved a worse signing for Celtic than Gary Gillespie, Carl Muggleton and Wayne Biggins put together. No mean feat that!
Rivaldo would have been a revelation at Parkheid, but such is life as they say in France. It'll certainly be interesting to see who MON goes for this summer. We need a boost on top of a cracking season. Robbie Keane is my personal choice, but whether the board will fork out the funds is another question
Not only did John Barnes manage Celtic he also sang on a neworder record. You'd have thought that was a good thing. How wrong can you be;)

Macari - who still lives in Stoke, and used to commute up to Glasgow, oooohhh, whenever he could be arsed when he was "employed" by Celtic - either sues his employers or bets against them at the bookies. It's what he does. When he quit Stoke (for the second time) in 1997, he tried to sue the board. Even though he resigned of his own accord (ironically, in order to spend more time pursuing his court case against Celtic). Go figure.

Quite understandably, Rivaldo told him to fuck off. He's off to Qatar awright, but he could still very easily play for any of the major brazilian teams for as much as he'd get in Europe nowadays. He must not be particularly fussed about it.
so if he's off to Qatar, why is this thing with Bremen only coming up today, after he had supposedly already agreed to join up with the QFA????

Why 'quite understandably'? It's not like Rivaldo's inundated with offers, now is it? Bolton ain't exactly the creme de la creme of the Premiership and Qatar is just a retirement home. It's only right he should make the effort to meet his new team-mates, see if he fits into the Celtic gameplan at all. To be honest, I'm a bit dubious of the man's character after that outrageous faking he did in the World Cup to get the Turkish lad sent off. All that talent, and at the the end of the day he's just a cheating c---. You can bet O'Neill's thinking the same thing.

Aye - he hasn't exactly been a prolific player in the last 2 or 3 years has he? That's exactly why MON wanted him on a trial run in the US. Plus the fact Rivaldo would have seen just how big the Celtic support is around the world. According to the Record today he's in Dubai signing for some donkey outfit, fair enough though - he'll be raking in £70,000 a week. Celtic certainly couldnae afford that!
As for Baia Al, they were already 4-0 up when he started his rolling about. It's not quite the same when yer getting beat 2-1;)
