Hey bro,
I'm trying to wind down from a double overtime Y league basketball game. We ended up with the win, so I can sleep the sleep of the righteous victor. :D
I've got a sweet titanium knee brace from when I tore my ACL. It's worked like a champ.
I hope you feel better soon.
Oh, btw, maybe we could have just a little more rain......
I lately got back from the "premiere" of my new play. Needless to say, the audience didn't exactly "get it." Damn people can't take it when the play is serious and then gets ridiculously over-the-top at the end.

Did you write this play, or direct it? and how did you get involved in the theatre in the first place? Must be a lot of hard work.

Sounds like a good play; were there ridiculous acts of violence and sex as well?

And yes, it does have ridiculous acts of sex and violence. There are four onstage deaths (ranging from murder to suicide to heart attack). :D It's based on a novella by the Marquis de Sade...so that should tell you something. It tells the story of a devout Christian girl who unknowingly ends up having a son with her brother, killing the baby (which she had given up for adoption) when it grew up and tried to rape her (not knowing she was his mother, of course), and then marrying her father. :p It's like a melodrama from hell with a black comedy edge.
I was just going thru the hell that is "Life Without Car, or Regular Access to Computer So I Can Play Tetris", for the past few days.
Back at my mom's, where the computer's working fine but the fumes from the spray they used to keep fleas off the cats are getting to me. :barf: ![]()
Say, was anyone aware there was a third Major League film? I sure didn't, and thanks to the Memorial Day crapathon on TBS, I got to see it....I give it four :barf: s
It's finally raining in Big Country. Such a good relief. Since it's raining I'm listening to the 1981 Peel Session. It matches perfectly.

Been DLing like a mofo from STG. Burning like a bastard. Watching Master and Commander on dvd and got done reading The Last Citadel.
Today I finally have two days off in a row so its a date with the weed eater and mower. they closed the nearby gunrange for improvements and I am pissed at the moment. All this ammo and nowhere to shoot.
If I lived in the country, say like my inlaws farm, I could walk out the back door nekkid and shoot stray dogs and deer.
the doctor assured me that I will be in fine form for the Seattle meet up...if not, I'm taking action against the rat bastard!!!
