any keyboardists/synth-guys in dallas?

hiya,

im a guitarist trying to start somekind of band in the vein of the clash and rage against the machine, maybe the sex pistols, but with a sound more reminiscent of new order/joy division...

im looking for a keyboard player or someone that owns and/or can operate a synthesizer pretty well between the ages of 17 to 25-ish located in the DFW area, preferably near the denton/carrollton area...

I'm neither a guitarist, nor I play the synth. I don't even live in Dallas. BUT I live in Edem named Abilene! Yahoooooooo!!!! I just saw your location and wanted to cheer your desperate mind up coz I'm from Texas too.

Or you could just hang out at Division One on Friday nights and ask around. Someone is bound to be interested or at least know someone who is.

yeah, ive noticed that theres alot of people in texas here, its almost wierd, cus all the other boards im a member on..well im like virtually the only texan on them

i can't play the keyboard, but i can sing and kinda play the guitar :)

^yeah, i totally know how ya feel, you should try putting up classifieds on www.harmony-central.com , its a great site, and alot of people visit it, so your bound to run across someone..

Probably not. I only started learning to play my keyboard around Christmas time. I'm trying to teach myself so its not easy and I'm not any good yet.

Besides, I'm going to be taking some music business classes soon so between that and work I won't have much time.
