I went to the 1:30 matinee with my kid brother, and I gotta say it was great. I can't really tell what my opinion is on it until I've read Ebert's review, but I think I liked it :D
It was good all around, and even though Doc Oc was probably my least-favorite Spidey villain (tied with the old guy who wore a fancy birdsuit...lame-o!), I thought it was great. 
Who else has seen it? 
Haven't quite managed to see all the first one yet, TV kept packing up in Antigua, and never bothered watching it on Sky.
Only seen the trailer, that thing with the weird arms looks shite I thought.
Probably wait for it to come on Sky movies before I watch it.

i saw it the other week. my mind kept drifting off to more interesting things--like how i needed to clean the kitchen.
just got back from seeing it....it was pretty good, and better than the first one. Prob wont pay to go see it a second time though.
I said sunday,but hey its here! A good copy too-thanks to a certain international airline for letting someone copy the inflight dvd. Got something called I,Robot with Will Smith in it on the disc too.

Better story and acting, but the villain was weak. The first movie took some time to grow on me, but now I'm liking this franchise.

Wilem Dafoe makes a nice cameo at the end
Saw it yesterday and it's a decent flick, as far as comic book movies go. Alfred Molina does a great job as the villain and the SFX do look somewhat better this time around (thankfully). Of course, Bruce Campbell has an enjoyable little cameo, and there's a hilarious scene in which Raimi really goes all out with his camerawork, a la "Evil Dead" (there's even a chainsaw in it, for cliff's sake). Sure, a lot of the dialogue is atrocious and plot holes aplenty, but that's to be expected.
Speaking of which, anyone else here like "Darkman"?
I think the running through Central Park in wedding dress think on the end totally ruins it. If you go the cinema leave 10 minutes BEFORE the end,ie: during the wedding.

Well, occasionally the cinema is decent--though I certainly wasn't expecting high art from this movie (nor do I from most plays and bands, pretentious whiney fuckers).
