Is it just me or has Brighton suddenly developed a music scene? First the brilliant British Sea Power and now the Ordinary Boys.
Seen them 3 times this year, always a good. great album, best new band around, and cant wait for the tour later this year.
Having a music scene isn't necessarily a bad thing. My city has a music scene, as well, but it only seems to have produced a bunch of rap artists in jail, like Beanie Siegel, and a mediocre pop star, like Pink.
They're alright Uncle Liam - saw them on Jools and they were on the Live Lounge with Jo Whiley today.
They smack to me of a few late 70's early 80's bands, a weird mix of The Jam, The Damned and The Clash. Which is not a bad thing. No doubt I will plunder a few music robbing sites when I get masel connected:D
Corby's music "scene" consists of the indescribably bad Raging Speedhorn.
If you are lucky enough to have BSP and The ordinary Boys, well, embrace them lads. Just think how bad things could be.
