We doing the Telegraph one again?

Lad I sit next to at work does the FA one. Free, but you lose points for transfers. And you know how tight most people are here! :evil4:

The Premierleague.com one is good, its free and self maintaining so no admin is required.

what do they mean I can't win any prizes...sniff sniff...

oh well, it's not like I'd have a snowball's chance in hell...

at least we don't have to choose a manager like we did in that Euro2004 game...

right then...can I have Gazza on my team?!?!?!?!:D

Right, the way it works is that pick a load of players at the start who have injuries, transfer them out as soon as you realise, then you listen to Dave's theories on how to maximise points, and make all your transfers in the first three weeks of the competition. Then you curse loudly as all your players either get injured or transfer out to clubs not in the competition, and you suffer in silence as plastic jocks come up on the rails and thrash you into submission. At least that's how it worked for me last season !

Not at all ! Listen to Dave's pearls of wisdom by all means. Just don't listen to me !

hee hee! my advice was sound at the time if you had transfers left to change your team at a later date, & as it was only october figured everyone would have some left! you do get 24!

i like the telegraph one as there are cash prizes & if you get the team of the week you win £150 or so, so even if you have no chance of winning the main cash prizes you can win something. its still hard, but you can...

Yeah, but six of my initial selected eleven were either injured before a ball was kicked or injured in the first two weeks, with injuries that would keep them out for months (two of them missed the entire season due to cruciates done in the last pre-season game), so a quarter of my transfers disappeared right at the start, through no fault of my own and just bad luck. They'd all been fit when I picked the team when I registered......
