Well, it seems Molson will be a lot more distributed in the US after all.

someone once saidabout the closest i'll ever get to coors is the time my driving instructor took me for a lesson around the coors' brewery car park in golden. shameful swill.
Coors Lite is good if you want to experience the taste of beer, while actually not getting drunk until you're on your twentieth bottle :D

bud is only mildly less pissy than coors--still tastes like the crap they give you at medieval times. you need some decent european lagers and ales there, trev!

Does Killian's Red count as European lager or ale? I've had Guiness and didn't much care for it. All-time fave is still Rum and Coke
nothing wrong with the scrumtrelescent medieval times, only their beer!
killian's is european, yes. it took me a while to acclimatize myself to guinness--it's truly a meal in itself. i imagine if you put it in an oven for a few hours it would rise like bread.
I often mind myself swilling Bass or Harp...since they are the two most readily available around here...but one of those is brewed in Canada...so not sure if it counts as being from across the pond...
And while it technically isn't European (it's brewed in California, but from a supposedly old Russian recipe), Old Rasputin Imperial Stout ain't bad at all...much better flavor than Guiness, which tastes surprisingly close to tar...and clocking in at 9%, much stronger than the mass produced swill that is Bud, Coors or Miller.
Having said that, I'm about to watch Celtic take on Chelsea, and all we have is Miller Genuine Draft. It was free, so I am not going to complain....too much!!!
drank two pints of stella in a pub in charlotte two nights ago! yum! :D
then paid $25 for a double of laphroaig! i'd forgotten that they would inflate the prices here in america.
that's it...I'm moving...006 get's Stella...Greenie can get his filthy paws on Stella...I'm chuffed...course...it probably wouldn't be the same if I could get it here...I'd end up right bored with it in a week!!!
Never had a problem finding Molson in Iowa except draft. Coors Light sucks, the worst beer ever.
I usually can't stand american beer myself (Bud ? eeesh!), but for some reason, the Miller Genuine Draft is one of my favorite beers!
It's a nice one to drink if you're looking for something light and refreshing. I like its oat taste too.
Anything written beer is good after the 4th one 
However, I must say, if your idea of beer is its taste, don't drink this... the idea being most "corporate" north american beers is to get drunk with them
That's why micro-brewries exist!
I've been a fan of maryland's local microbrews for the past few years. but i had to cut back when i started to notice my waist kept getting bigger and bigger.
These days I enjoy Kirin Ichiban from japan.
I quite enjoy Miller in bottles. Don't know how good or bad it is in comparison over here, but a mate of mine drank nothing else for weeks after a visit to the States. He's normally a Guinness or cider drinker. (Great description of Guinness, Jeff. 
A more civilised choice of words than I'd have went with!) Anyway, back to Miller. I find it the best (easiest) to drink if I've somehow *ahem* over-indulged the night before. My first experience of that was about 10 years ago in a hotel in Manchester when it was decided 'hair of the dog' was called for. Ice-cold Miller straight after breakfast, 8.30 am.

Maybe, I know I didn't get bored of it over the weekend. :) Of course, I've remembered another reason to hate the cow college town of Corvallis; they once had, but were unable to support, a Kells Pub. Imagine that, all of those dumb ass frat boys decided to stick with the Coors Light, all the better to wash those Totino' frozen pizzas down with, I guess.
