I haven't been able to keep up with the Daily Show, but I remember the glory days of Stephen Colbert, Steve Carrell(sic) and Mo. I know not of this Rob fellow you speak of.

Dennis Miller used to do some funny-ass HBO sepcials, and I recommend his pre-conversion "Rant" books to anyone who thinks he's funny now. I like Bill Maher better anyways.

Obama's speech was energizing, but a part was more fit for the 60's rather than today. As for him being president someday, he'll need to become a governor first (or become a VP), and then he'll have much better chances. He seems to not be a typical Democrat. I'm just saying that, were he to run for something on national scale like Prez or VP, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat based on what he brought to the convention last night.
