Obama's speech was energizing, but a part was more fit for the 60's rather than today. As for him being president someday, he'll need to become a governor first (or become a VP), and then he'll have much better chances. He seems to not be a typical Democrat. Here's a quote I liked from Tucker Carlson: "He came out for tax cuts for corporations; that's kind of interesting. He didn't say anything about Iraq; that's interesting too. He didn't say anything about the Patriot Act. He didn't say anything about desecrating the environment. He said not a word about Halliburton. In other words, his speech sounded nothing like the typical Democratic speech this year. I thought it was good."
TC's one of the few conservatives I like (including you, of course), because he rarely seems like he's gonna shout down the other guy. Fox News doesn't have a sense of humor about him, but he's cool. Bit too Alex Keaton-esque perhaps, but alright by me.
Obama's a relatively young man (early 40s), so he'll have plenty of time to run for all sorts of offices and get some experience. I'm just saying that, were he to run for something on national scale like Prez or VP, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat based on what he brought to the convention last night. I really think this guy could go all the way to the White House, if he ever wanted to.
I agree that he's a very likeable man. I almost like him
He's so dreamy..........
Sean hannity, on the other hand.......total asshole
